Someday I would like to have my blog
printed into a book. How cool would that be?
Since I'm still in the process of uncluttering my MAC and external hard drive and I want to include past banners in my future blog book, I thought I would do a banner review.

I originally called this blog Simply Yummy. It was in honor of a certain someone. If you read the original Turnips and Carrots when I blogged over here, than you know who I'm talking about. Simply Yummy lasted a single day, after I came across another blog titled Simply Yummy. I thought I was being original. Apparently...I wasn't. Needless to say, I went back to Turnips and Carrots.
I used this because I was clueless on how to make my own banner.

This was the first banner that I created. I remember I was so stressed out when I was making it. I was using Photoshop Elements and still wasn't comfortable with the software. I laugh about that now. When I was finished and had the banner loaded onto my blog, I was so proud of myself. Funny.
I can't remember who the designer of the flourish thingie is, so can't give credit. And I don't know why when I preview this post, some of the images are fuzzy.

You know I love anything designed by Rhonna Farrer. The images used in this banner are from her Snap Shot Frames Brush Kit. So easy - just resize and color the brushes and stamp them on a white background, then add text. I had this one up for a long time.

Another little something from Rhonna Farrer. This is from her Urban Junque Border Kit.

Katie Pertiet is another fabulous designer. The flowers are from the Sun Print Brushes & Stamps 2.

Finally, my current banner that is up. I used Rhonna Swirls v6.
I still love pink and orange. I still love my blog clean and simple.
